Die Welt, die dir gefällt - A participatory book from Gretas Schwester
The picture book is published in connection with the publishing house ArsEdition.
"Imagination is everything." (Albert Einstein)
There are no limits to our imagination. We can be anything, do anything, be anywhere and nowhere. In our imagination we write stories. Imagination is everything.
And that's why it's so important to foster this creative ability in even the youngest children.
Each double-page spread asks the viewer a question, such as "Where would you most like to be right now?", "How would you travel there?", or "Would you also like to have a pet, and if so, which one?" The answer options, in the form of enchanting pictures by Sarah Neuendorf, founder and graphic designer of the popular Berlin label "Greta's Schwester," can vary each time you look at them. Stories can be told with them:
"Today I travel to Africa by hot air balloon, live there in a tent and my best friend is Viking. My pet is a dinosaur. Our favourite thing to do together is go to the outdoor pool ..."
An exciting and innovative picture book concept that encourages independent thinking and decision-making in even the youngest children and is fun for young and old alike!
